This versatile unit is suitable for housing poultry, ducks, geese and even a turkey or two. Like all our houses it is made from sturdy timber of a simple design and is ideal for people who want to free range their poultry. It has a fixed Onduline roof, giving excellent ventilation; full height entrance door; roosting bars which can be altered in height; sliding pop hole which fit the automatic door closers;
Suitable for up to 12 medium sized hens, like the commercial hybrids, [ Black Rock; Rhode Island; Welsumer etc] hens, [for the large breeds like Orpingtons may be 8 would be better] or 6 to 10 ducks depending on breed.
A breeding trio of geese would be happy in here as it would give space for the mums to sit and the goslings once they have hatched.

You can make a bigger run with the Run Panels, or have a covered lobby area if you are raising young birds like those for the table, and electric netting is perfect to manage birds in a large area or protect free ranging birds from predators.
