| These houses in use are Soil Association approved.
They are constructed of softwood framing clad with 'tantalised'
tongue & groove board and featuring an apex roof extended on one side
to give a porch type cover to the nesting box and also generous draught
free fixed ventilation tucked under the eaves of the porch. On the opposite
side there is further adjustable ventilation with sliding Perspex covers
allowing daylight into the house when closed off.
A Slide out droppings tray is fitted below the perching area with a fixed floor / walkway in front leading to the pop-hole exit for the poultry. The whole unit is skid mounted and supplied with towing eyes They are ideal for orchards and fields for the larger sized flock. They are easy to use for both birds and humans. The nesting box is set at waist level for easy access from the outside. A rack of perches are opposite the nestboxes.

Softwood construction using 'Tanalised' tongue and groove cladding
and framing that is either 'Tanalised' or 'Fentex' protected.
All roofs are clad with 'Onduline' corrugated sheet made from bitumen saturated organic fibre, these are hinged for easy access and cleaning on all units except those provided entrance doors. Roosting bars are fitted. Access for all livestock is via a pop hole with a sliding door. High level ventilation is provided on all units plus additional adjustable vent on larger units. All units are supplied with a solid floor. 25mm square 16 gauge heavy mesh is used on all runs for strength and security The finished colour of the units is 'nut' brown, fixtures and fittings are galvanised or plated. All units are sectional and delivered flat packed with screws provided for easy assembly.
