2010 is a year for re-evaluating all our values and working to improve our personal sustainability, there has never been a better time to get our gardens working harder for ourselves, growing our own food: meat and eggs, recycling more, breeding more useful types of birds, and helping each other.
Our websites are full of experienced advice, from decades of breeding and rearing and eating, and well researched, reliable, state of the art products for the domestic environment.
We look forward to helping you get more out of your garden or smallholding, and your birds, for a fulfilling 2010.
PLEASE read our CONTACT US page for our opening times.
We are very busy outside these days so, sometimes, the office is not manned.

This is a very popular unit for up to 6 birds, where it is necessary to contain stock, for example pure breeds or for use in the garden. The house is made from sturdy timber and the integral run has an optional end release to allow you to free range your poultry as much as you can.
The basic model comes complete with run, carry handles, to enable you to move it to clean ground, and roosting bars, which are easily removed for housing ducks.
Entrance to the housing area is by lifting up the Onduline and sheet timber lid, which is hinged at the front.
Size : 38 inches x 33 inches; run - 72 inches long
Height at front : 30 inches, Height at rear 24 inches
All our houses are simplicity itself to construct.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS: for greater detail for these options click here.
The options you can add to the basic model include : Nest boxes nest box for chickens to lay in, [ducks don't need one, they lay whereever they are at the time] and an end release to allow you to let the birds roam around your garden during the daytime. The optional slide out floor makes cleaning out much easier. Keeping chickens should be fun so features such as these are a good investment in keeping the hassle factor down.
If you are wanting to move the house a lot or alone there are wheels available.

Choose which of these options you need to fulfill your birds needs and your convenience.
External Nest box divided into 2 sections: £40.00
End release : £14.00
Slide out floor : £30.00
Wheels : £85.00   carriage: £18.00 if ordered separately

To give your birds a greater sheltered area than just the house, and to comply with any bird flu requirements should an incident occur in your area, it is simple to add a cover to the run; either stapling on a simple polythene sheet or tacking on a more substantial cover. Many parts of the country are suffering from increasingly variable weather, so giving the birds more shelter is a kindness to them. If the run is staying in one place you can create a bark run.

ELECTRIC NETTING - the answer to being able to let your birds have a great deal more space but not be in danger from daytime predators such as dogs, foxes, badgers, mink etc. Our netting is green and black so much more visually pleasing, its also taller than standard offering you greater protection. This will also help to keep wildfowl flocks at a distance if you are concerned about avian influenza.
