This chicken house is superbly designed to securely house around 8 birds. They have an ample house, a covered verandah and feed station. There can be no contact with the wild birds either from above or below.
It is a perfect poultry coop if you are worried about your birds being in contact with migrating waterfowl that might potentially carry Avian Influenza [Bird flu] in the future.
It would also be a wonderful rearing unit for young birds in inclemant weather.
A very useful unit for up to 8 medium birds, where it is necessary to contain stock. The house is made from sturdy tongue and groove timber.
This house and run unit is built with an integral veranda type run being raised 15" (380mm) from the ground.
The floor of the run is made of slatted sections that can be removed for cleaning
The run area is enclosed with �" (13mm) square weld mesh to keep out the smallest species of wild bird and has a fully covered roof.
There is a weather protected feed area at the end of the run with access via a hinged section of the roof
The whole of the run top will slide away from the house to access the closable pop hole to the house and a large portion of the run. The run top can be lifted off completely.
The house has an exterior nest box and slide out droppings tray as standard and is fitted with two roosting bars and adequate ventilation. The roof section is hinged to access the house.
Positive catches stop slatted floors being lifted from the underside by Predators

The drinkers are robust, easy to fill and carry and have extending legs to keep debris out of the clean water. We can also provide the galvanised drinkers - please contact us for prices.

3kg plastic feeder
Galvanised Eltex hopper which can be screwed to the back wall of the feeding point to keep the feed dry. This feeder will save space and is easily filled from above in situ.
ELECTRIC NETTING - the answer to being able to let your birds have a great deal more space but not be in danger from dogs, foxes, badgers etc. Our netting is green and black so much more visually pleasing. This will also help to keep wildfowl flocks at a distance if you are concerned.

Softwood construction using 'Tanalised' tongue and groove cladding and framing that is either 'Tanalised' or 'Fentex' protected.
All roofs are clad with 'Onduline' corrugated sheet made from bitumen saturated organic fibre, these are hinged for easy access and cleaning on all units except those provided entrance doors.
Roosting bars are fitted.
Access for all livestock is via a pop hole with a sliding door.
High level ventilation is provided on all units plus additional adjustable vent on larger units.
All units are supplied with a solid floor.
25mm square 16 gauge heavy mesh is used on all runs for strength and security [13mm in some]
The finished colour of the units is 'nut' brown,
fixtures and fittings are galvanised or plated.
All units are sectional and delivered flat packed with screws provided for easy assembly.
