Brentford Range
For larger flocks of ducks and chickens, geese or turkeys. Available in two sizes; both with hinged entrance door and fixed Onduline roof; fixed ventilation and sliding pop hole. We are using the 460 for our small breeding flocks (We put in 12 - 20 birds [depending on the size of the breed] so they have plenty of space to be inside if the weather requires - the feed hopper is always inside). If you are in the wetter parts of the country this is about the right number of birds - as they use it much more and it saves constant cleaning out and the danger of respiratory problems. Carriage : �45 (surcharges may apply) will accommodate up to 35 birds. An ideal unit for a small free range laying flock in a field; paddock or orchard. the skids mean you can pull it on to fresh grazing every few weeks behind a small tractor or with the car. Softwood construction using 'Tanalised' tongue and groove cladding
and framing that is either 'Tanalised' or 'Fentex' protected.
All roofs are clad with 'Onduline' corrugated sheet made from bitumen saturated organic fibre, these are hinged for easy access and cleaning on all units except those provided entrance doors. Roosting bars are fitted. Access for all livestock is via a pop hole with a sliding door. High level ventilation is provided on all units plus additional adjustable vent on larger units. All units are supplied with a solid floor. 25mm square 16 gauge heavy mesh is used on all runs for strength and security The finished colour of the units is 'nut' brown, fixtures and fittings are galvanised or plated. All units are sectional and delivered flat packed with screws provided for easy assembly.
